Matisyahu featuring Adam Weinberg

Details

Join us as Matisyahu brings his stripped back acoustic show to Third Space at Shaarei Tfiloh. The show features long-time friend, and collaborator Adam Weinberg on guitar. Presented in its most raw form, Matisyahu will highlight his repertoire allowing his voice and beat-boxing, paired with inventive guitar arrangements, to expand through lyrical intensity and musical improvisation. This format naturally digs deep into the meaning of the song itself, and lays Matisyahu’s spiritual journey bare, bringing a closeness to the artist-fan relationship.

Singer and songwriter, Matisyahu has been translating timeless ideas into contemporary music for over two decades. Known for blending spiritual themes with reggae, rock and hip-hop beatboxing sounds, Matisyahu’s 2005 single, “King Without a Crown” was a Top 40 hit in the United States. Since 2004, he has released seven studio albums, five live albums, two remix CDs and two DVDs featuring live concerts. Throughout his career, Matisyahu has worked with Bill Laswell and reggae producers Sly & Robbie and Kool Kojak. He has also appeared as an actor in films.

This Mainstage event is sure to bring our stunning sanctuary to a transcendent level of music and vibes. Dancing room in the back for those who choose to get up and boogie. Or, get comfortable in your seat and take in the music and space with surrounded by good company.

Concert starts at 7:30 PM, Doors open at 6:30 PM
