How did an ancient Torah ritual conducted by the community elders and magistrates become a call to leaders to pay attention when a society becomes numb to the growing presence of violence and competition in its midst? Over three sessions we will explore this ancient ritual and how it became a way to signal to communal leaders when there may be something in need of attention about what is going on in the ether and can be used as a call to community leaders to take a closer look at what is at play beneath the surface.
