Explore your Jewish roots! Join us for a brief presentation by a teacher who has traced her own Jewish family back to the 11th century, followed by a hands-on workshop using online genealogy tools. Please bring a laptop for interactive research.

Abby Rickin-Marks (she/they) is the Program Associate and Administrator at Third Space at Shaarei Tfiloh. Abby graduated from Oberlin College in 2025 with a BA in Sociology with high honors and Jewish Studies. Prior to working at Third Space, Abby worked in a variety of Jewish communal settings, including nonprofits and cultural centers, where she specialized in research, programming, and development. They are especially passionate about making Jewish spaces more inclusive, creative, and connected to broader movements for justice. Abby brings a love of storytelling, a commitment to intersectional equity, and a strong logistical brain to her work.
