A cozy and welcoming space where we’ll screen Disobedience, a 2017 film that follows Ronit, who returns to her Orthodox Jewish community after the death of her father and reconnects with Esti, the woman she once loved. As old feelings resurface, both women must navigate questions of identity, faith, belonging, and desire. Following the screening, we’ll gather for informal conversation and reflection. This is a space to build community, connect with one another, and explore the complexities of queer Jewish life through film and discussion.
